They exchange in-depth conversations about the amateur and excessive use of eyeliner, light bulb wattages and safe practices for inducing unconsciousness. A spark was made between them and thus, Pablo practiced his karma sutra moves with her on the pool table. Ron Jackson was conceived that night. His parents dropped him on his head when he was two and a half years old which lead to his mind to become wired with repetitive electronic music. At a young age, Ron wanted to cure AIDS with bubble gum and prayers of Allah. Instead he grew up to be an amateur dragon whisperer and he realized that recording on a cassette player is tedious. The pleasure of mixing two tunes to confuse people into thinking they have been listening to the same song for hours is riveting. Alongside playing other people's tunes, he has come to realize that sticking feathers up your butt does not make you a chicken. Ron Jackson does not hail from any particular city, benefit from his parents eclectic record collection nor was he musically trained at a young age. Ron Jackson does not wish to be referred as a DJ but as a fellow music enthusiast on the dancefloor. A perfectionist curator of modern techno, DJ Ron Jackson is skyrocketing star in the DC-area techno scene. Becoming known for his uniquely-crafted dub techno sets and linear rhythmic grooves, Ron Jackson has opened for the likes of Cell Injection (Drumcell & Audio Injection/Truncate), Marcel Dettmann, Zenker Brothers and Recondite. In addition, he's the mastermind behind Void Archive, a regular DC techno party that hosts the best techno artists of the area. He's played everywhere in DC that matters - Flash, U Street Music Hall, Dr. Clocks, and Jimmy Valentines.
