Ron Franklin Music Ron Franklin San Diego I'm a performing guitarist/songwriter based in San Diego, California. I teach Music for the San Diego Community College District as an adjunct instructor in the Continuing Education program. I began playing clubs professionally at a young age and went on to earn a Bachelor of Music degree from Baldwin-Wallace University and Master of Music degree in Classical Guitar Performance from Texas Tech University. My original work shows the influence of the great acoustic singer-songwriters and my guitar work is influenced by my classical training. I like to practice the art of spontaneous improvisation with my band Rainbow Sledgehammer (on the World music charts for San Diego).
