Roles Melbourne Roles is a DIY post-punk, post-pop duo living in Melbourne Australia. Their minimalist sound is built around a fuzz of synths, drum machine and sparse abrasive guitar; all lit by stirring vocals. Taking a conceptual approach, Roles base their songs on stories found in interviews, taped conversations and old audio recordings. The duo consists of Louise Love and Luis Gutiérrez.
