ROKO >>> <<< Salvador A sub-bass addict since day one, ROKO has been mixing beats since 2005 when getting deeper into the emerging sounds of the UK underground. Originally hailing from Helsinki, the Finnish selector, based in London from 2002 until 2009 and in Berlin from 2009 until 2016, is now riding the waves in Brazil. ROKO's weekly show ran for 8 years on the international #1 bass music internet radio SUB.FM. During these years he was also playing gigs around Europe; from Poland and Czech Republic to Hungary as well as Norway and Estonia to Denmark. His selection represents modern bass music’s diversity and undefined nature encompassing styles from the deeper and more musical end to the harder and more dancefloor orientated flavours. The DJ sets have reached Berlin clubs such as Berghain, Tresor, about:blank, Horst Krzbrg, Golden Gate, VCF, Gretchen and Icon. From 2010 to 2011 ROKO was co-organising a Hotflush Recordings night at Horst Krzbrg with the labels head honcho Scuba. From 2012 until 2015 he was organising and DJing parties with the Shlomp collective in Berlin.
