The name 'Rizmi' is sampled from and pays homage to the great polymath, Al-Khwarizmi. In the early 800s, Al-Khwarizmi revolutionised scientific thinking through combining Greek and Hindu Sciences — demonstrating the universality of knowledge beyond cultures, borders and language, through techniques we still use today, and to paint visions of the future (the word 'algorithm' is based on the latinisation of his name). In transitioning beyond political, economic, colonial, psychological narratives of separation and isolationism, music & art can be our greatest vehicles in affirming inter-connection, Love, balance, nurturing human-nature.
