ILLINOISE is noisy tour de force solo for the sax player (playing TWO tenor saxes simultaneously while reciting the Gettysburg address) ... and BADGER BABY is a lullaby for solo piano (the pianist falls asleep at the end of the mvmt, collapsing onto the keyboard) HEARTLAND (2007) 1.
