Rick Air Rick Air Frankfurt Born in Frankfurt, Germany - Rick was always interested in music. Inspired by Pink Floyd, Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream, Jean-Michel Jarre, Mike Oldfield, Klaus Schulze, Brian Eno and Vangelis, he discovered his interest for experimental electronic sounds. Over the years, he developed his knowledge and started his career as a DJ, and became the resident of the legendary club “Dorian Gray” at Frankfurt Airport, Germany in 1995 and evolved into one of the biggest names for the so called “Sound of Frankfurt”. He traveled around the world and played in famous clubs such as: “Space“, Ibiza; “Fabric“, London; “Cinema Hall“, Budapest; “Watergate“, Berlin, just to name a few. From 1998 he worked as a radio host for several radio stations like Radio Sunshine Live, Big City Beats Radio, Planet Radio and Radio Radar to present his show “Airwaves”. Rick started his own column with the worldwide known Magazine DJ Mag, as a music section editor & contributor he reviewed the hottest tunes, releases and newest music materials. You can call his music style - electronic dance music - that reaches from techno, house to melodic electronica. After taking some time off, he is back in the studio working on new releases.
