Rick Vartian Rick Vartian Mariposa Rick Vartian is a singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist with nearly 40 years of experience as a professional musician. Founder of the popular Seattle based progressive folk band The Puddle Jumpers (1995-2000), the progressive rock band ARCANA (1994-1996), producer and primary songwriter/performer in the parody blues band Pancreas Joe and the Eskimo Leftist ($30 Dollar Guitar) and the engineer/producer of dozens of studio based musical projects, Rick has covered a lot of musical ground over the years. From Mandolin based folk and folk rock compositions to classical, jazz, new age instrumentals and musical comedy, there is a lot of music here that should appeal to most music lovers regardless of their usual style preferences. As the previous owner of a state-of -the-art 16-Track home recording studio from 1981 to 1991, he has produced a very large body of original compositions and recordings. We have uploaded about 30% of his extensive musical catalog here on this page.
