RICH NXT BIO
Something special was happening to London's rave culture in the mid 2000's. A generation of like minded artists and promoters all with similar tastes in house and techno were forming a genuine scene spirit and alchemy that has propelled its instigators far and wide. Rich NxT was enjoying being part of the movement, frequenting seminal East London parties at T Bar, Public Life and lots more.
Born in 2008, FUSE London carved its own unique position on the scene with its now infamous Sunday free parties at
93 Feet East. As one of FUSE’s original residents (after meeting Enzo Siragusa in Ibiza), Rich played a major part in the brand’s evolution, helping take it from a free afterparty to
being one of the most respected event brands and labels on the planet.
A core FUSE artist, he has supplied many defining moments for the FUSE London label by delivering a never ending string of quality, innovative EPs. The most recent was a
collaborative effort with East End Dubs, entitled the Four Slip EP. Taking influence from the London's drum n bass and jungle rave scene and later the minimal and tech house scenes,
The dynamic DJ/producer has a strong identifiable trademark sound and runs two of his own imprints, NxT Records and What NxT. His DJ highlights include appearances at most of the scene’s major venues such as
DC10, Space, Amnesia, Octan (formerly Sankeys Ibiza) Robert Johnson, Warehouse Elemenstratt and Mint Warehouse. He is versatile enough to command
the decks over long sets at intimate venues such as Bret, CD
V and Watergate. Now the festival scene is calling with appearances at Cocoon In The Park, BPM and Mint Festival. These are all alongside frequent sets for Fuse at Village
Underground, Tobacco Dock and Studio 338 in London.
2018 and early 2019 has been slew of high quality in demand releases that gained the support of many DJs including The Martinez Brothers, Tini, Marco Carola, Enzo
Siragusa, Jamie Jones, WAFF, Steve Lawler, MEAT, Matthias Kaden, East End Dubs, Yaya, Sante, Butch, Alan Fitzpatrick, Eats Everything, Dj Le Roi, Jean Pierre,
Cuartero, Darius Syrossian.
This has also led to appearances at major events run by
brands such as Paradise, Cuttin Headz and Viva Warriors,
2019 looks set to continue and a defining one for Rich. Releases scheduled include a collaboration with Enzo Siragusa on the Part 2 of the FUSE 10 EP, a new solo EP
on Fuse London and his next work on NxT Records where Argy and Malin Genie are on remix duty. His remixes for Steve Bug and Darius Syrossian on Snatch! and Moxy
Music respectively have been causing summer dancefloor mayhem. Meanwhile he continues to demonstrate a very keen ear for a hit with What NxT delivering the goods with new and established artists alike. Rich also continues he radio residency on Rinse FM with Fuse London
