Atari has garnered worldwide success as a multi-platinum record producer
and songwriter (20 million + sold), producing & writing hits with a wide
range of artists, including Coldplay, Drake, Avicii, Usher, Wyclef Jean,
Robin Thicke, Waka Flocka, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Snoop Dogg,
Nicole Scherzinger (Pussycat Dolls), Jill Scott, 112, Gucci Mane, Bone
Thugs-N-Harmony and countless others. Atari also Co-Executive Produced
(with DIDDY), pop/R&B act 112’s triple-platinum album titled “Part III”. He
has Executive Produced hit projects in the United States, Canada, the
United Kingdom, Norway, Japan, France, Italia, Russia and Australia. MTV
recently credited Ric Atari, Wyclef Jean & Waka Flocka for creating an
entire new genre of music called “Trap –N- Roll”.
In addition to Music producer, Atari’s skills as TV/Film producer have also
been prominently featured on television, from “House Hunters” on HGTV to
major commercial campaigns for Sprite, CNN, Georgia Lottery and more.
On the film side, Atari served as Executive Producer, Writer & Music
Supervisor on the hit indie releases ”The Life & Times of Abdullah The
Butcher” (Documentary) & “All I Want” (Feature Film), both released
through Tier2Films’ distribution agreement with Team Marketing &
Wal-Mart. Atari continues to branch out into television and film. Future
projects already in the works include his first assignment as an Executive
Producer & Creator for the unscripted series, “Cochon 555” with
Discovery Studios, “Being Trinidad” with hip-hop superstar Trinidad
James, two more unscripted series “Bitch It Up” & “My Funny Life” with
Major Networks, his role as Executive Producer/Writer/Music
Supervisor for the film, “Couples Therapy” that airs in
March 2015 & the same roles for the upcoming 2015 film, “The Black
As the head of The Hit Catalog, Inc., a rapidly growing music-publishing
corporation, Atari recently signed a lucrative joint-venture publishing deal
with The Royalty Network.
