4 - Nightfall on the Des Moines River at Dolliver by Regress and Revive published on 2013-01-07T23:53:41Z This is the aural narrative of summer 2012, preserved for my memory and your imagination. These tracks, selected from over one-hundred recordings taken between May and August, provide a glimpse into how and where I spent my season. It was a long, hot summer--too long and too hot for my taste--and perhaps this collection is more poetry than history. But romanticism is a privilege of the retrospect. Individual descriptions are packaged with the metadata of each track. They are organized chronologically, more or less. For no reason in particular, I've branded this project under my long-held musical moniker "Regress and Revive." All recordings were taken on a Zoom H2. Album artwork is inspired by a picture I took of a Davis County pond in July. Please use headphones.
