Aura is a fusion of aggressive, punchy downtempo beats that collide with genuine voices and spheric piano soundscapes. The key concept is a playful experiment with contrasts. The absence of one element makes another more visible, just as the absence of light gives room for darkness, and vice versa. Groovy drums provide a foundation for the tracks, while powerful vocals add a haunting, ethereal quality to the pieces. The EP consists of 3 tracks, one featuring the polish artist Józefina, an acclaimed pop-singer also known as Lari Lu, who has built her position performing with Varius Manx and Piotr Rubik.
The aura as a phenomenon is a subtle energy field that surrounds every person, animal, plant or moment. It is fragile and unique - it may be a summer sunrise with fog that has not yet settled, or a dramatic collage of clouds in purple, indigo and grey. It is a unique moment that exists only once in time and can pass in an instant without the possibility of repetition.
