Real Talks

The Real Talks with SOSAD Ireland well-being series was launched in September, 2022 to promote positive mental health. It features mental skills masterclasses with Alan O’Mara and powerful conversations with leading figures such as Rory O’Connor (Rory’s Stories), David Balfe (For Those I Love) and Leanne Kiernan (Liverpool FC and Ireland). They share important life lessons and explore various aspects of wellbeing such as depression, grief, resilience, confidence and more.

The first two seasons of the Real Talks podcast featured leading GAA players speaking in a way they have never been heard before. Guests included All-Ireland winners Kevin McManamon, Philly McMahon, Michael Fennelly and Brendan Maher.

Alan O’Mara is the founder of RealTalks.ie and author, the best-selling memoir ‘The Best Is Yet To Come’ and a Performance and Wellbeing Coach with leaders in sport and business around the world.
