Created in 2003 by Nicolas Krauze, its artistic director and principal conductor, the Orchestre de Chambre Nouvelle Europe has performed over 300 concerts all over Europe and South-America in the best halls and festivals. The OCNE gives a preference for repertoires of 19th, 20th and 21st Centuries. The OCNE plays mostly repertoires of the 19th, 20th and 21st Centuries. From time to time and for specific projects, the OCNE enjoys re-orchestrating pieces, and regularly focuses on contemporary works, such as the recent creations it made of composers such as Nicolas Bacri, Karol Beffa, Mikolaj Majkusiak, Alexandre Bénéteau and Evgueni Galperine.
