Television Presenter, Singer, Lyricist, Composer, Writer, Host and Actor by profession, there isn't much Ramona Arena doesn't do. Besides this, she is a passionate traveler, a talented photographer, scuba diver, cricket lover, food and wine enthusiast and speaks fluent English, Hindi, Gujrati, German, Swiss German and very basic Italian, French and Marathi !
Having returned to India from Switzerland, this most popular former Mtv VJ and youth icon jumped straight back into her world - entertainment and music.
She first signed on with Beatbox Records (Mexico) for the single 'Feel' with Rickber Serrano, available for download on Beatport, iTunes etc. Making her Indias first ever female EDM vocalist/composer to have an international release.
Soon after, she collaborated with Anish Sood on another song she'd composed and written, 'Wanna Be Your Only Love'. It was picked up by Dj Miss Nine's label 925 Music, played live at Armin van Buurens' A State Of Trance 550 at Den Bosch, gained lots of international support and Matt Darey featured it twice on his online Nocturnal radio show. VH1 India also premiered the tracks music video on air.
After the success of this single, they've teamed up once again for their second release with the label; 'Hello World', again written, composed and sung by Ramona Arena (out on July 2nd 2013). The Hello Tour awaits and the music video for Hello World will soon be hitting the airwaves!
Ramona is currently working on a solo project as well as working on collaborations with various artists, DJs and producers across the globe.
She has been a part of the Sunburn Festival family and hosted the 2011 and 2012 editions of Sunburn Festival in Goa.
She is also a regular host for a number of other tours, festivals, and events, and most recently appeared on Fox Traveler and National Geographic. She is also featured in Vir Das' latest music video -“Tadka.”
