Dancing to your own tune by Ramon Capsada Blanch published on 2020-02-29T20:13:20Z I have composed this piece expressly for the contest that has been convened on the "Forum Composer" website, organized by Gav Brown, under the motto of "Dancing" (I finally ranked second. Oops! I almost win). It is written for an orchestra of seven instruments (oboé, trumpet, trombone, tuba, violin, viola and double bass). The intention has been to create a jovial, festive and fun atmosphere using innovative musical elements of different harmonic nature, doing smooth transitions between parts with marked consonant harmony to more dissonant others.
