"Das Gelobte Land" ist eine Auftragskomposition für den Musikbund Ober- und Niederbayern, die im Sommer 2017 uraufgeführt wird. Sie ist im Schwierigkeitsgrad der Mittelstufe angesiedelt und berücksichtigt im besonderen Maß das sogenannte "weiche" Blech, also die Flügelhörner und Tenorhörner, die oft bei aktuellen Kompositionen, die sich an der Besetzung der amerikanischen Windbands orientieren, zu kurz kommen. Die Aufnahme ist nur ein einfaches Demo vom Notationsprogramm heraus aufgenommen ... "Das Gelobte Land - The promised Land" was commissioned by the bavarian windband board and will have it's first performance in Summer 2017 in Munich. It's composed for "middle grade" windbands and provides an instrumentation that has two flugelhorn and two baritone parts (instead of one for each instrument) since in bavarian tradition there are usually a lot of flugelhorn and baritone players and they usually play more than just one voice (In bavaria the baritone is called Tenorhorn)...
