ABOUT MAKÚ:

Makú was born and raised in Colombia. From a very young age she had great passion for music, art and wellness. Exploring different instruments and modalities, Makú always found music to be an amazing tool for healing herself and others. After college, she moved to New York to pursue her dreams. She eventually found herself so intrigued by Djing, the idea of mixing different music together to make make people really feel, go within and let go! She found this modality of musical expression gave her the opportunity to bring positive influence and energy to the people around her, which is everything to Makú! It gave her a drive to dive deeper into her own favorite styles: electronic, techno and deep house, and really pursue her path as a DJ.

As she has grown on her journey in music, she has developed a deeper understanding of the importance of music and sound in our daily lives. This understanding has allowed her to discover the different spectrums of possibilities that is music!
