The story behind Xander started off in 2015, when two teenagers with a dream wanted to try out something new.

Forming a duo together with my cousin was the initial plan, Xander & Roman was born, but the project eventually fell through as there were barely any listeners. It isn't easy to succeed as a DJ in today's digitalized world, where basically anyone could put two songs together and make it sound good, but i was aware of that and it never brought me down. After a long break, and my cousin's departure from the music industry, i decided to start again and try to improve, rather than re-doing everything i learned through the previous years, therefore, the solo project was revived in May of 2020.

Now, under my own name, i'm releasing one hour long mixes every two weeks through my recently rebranded show titled "Melodics 101", featuring some of the best Organic, Afro or Melodic House tracks out there, so that you too can join me on my musical journey.

Music was always there for me, through highs and lows, so i wanted it to be the same for everyone else, because music will forever be the best treatment to whatever you're going through.
