_disquiet0245 by ¶radio hummingbird published on 2016-09-10T16:43:27Z this is ¶radio hummingbird's contribution to this week's disquiet junto with the serial number 0245. in short, the requirement for this contribution was to record a piece of music "for getting things done, suitable for playing on repeat". while recording, the monsoon season finally arrived and a heavy thunderstorm accompanied me during this process which took far longer today than anticipated. but hey, at least the atmosphere was right.......... this piece has been created using a sampled field recording featuring a khmer wedding party in the local neighbourhood as a base. around this framework, a looped and echoed light bulb "clap" has ben arranged as well as some simple synthscapes created with ¶radio hummingbird's little modular travel kit. no other gear has been used and the only post-processing applied was LANDR for mastering the recording. don't forget to set your playback and looping repeat and consider using headphones while listening. thank you.
