_disquiet0240 by ¶radio hummingbird published on 2016-08-07T03:28:13Z this is ¶radio hummingbird's contribution to this week's disquiet junto with the serial number 0240. in short, the requirement for this contribution was to start a new piece with a drone sound that slowly evolves into a more rhythmic arrangement. this piece has been created using a looping pedal plus an analog echo and delay pedal both chained between the mic and the looper. a burnt out light bulb, a off-cut of a palm leaf, a lotus seed pod, one empty glass bottle and, ultimately, a miniature roneat khmer have been the sonic sources of this soundscape. the only post-processing applied was LANDR for mastering the recording. please listen loud and enjoy what you hear. thank you. Love them. This reminds me of watching educational filmstrips while being schooled in the 70s, 2016-08-09T13:58:43Z Comment by 337is (three three seven is) Great assemblage. Love the toolset and implementation. A beautiful ritualized experience. 2016-08-09T13:55:47Z
