RadioCOMA

COMA (Creative Original Music Adelaide) is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit association dedicated to the presentation of original music in Adelaide, South Australia. It is musician-led, musician-focused, and presents a unique opportunity for the creative development and artistic endeavor of a broad range of Australian composers and performers. COMA is committed to presenting and raising the profile of original music in Adelaide, and in Australia.

COMA was formed by a group of Adelaide-based musicians passionate about increasing opportunities in our city for the performance by both emerging and established artists of quality original music from the genres of jazz, improvised music, new classical and electronic.

Since its inception in 2005, COMA has presented ongoing concert series on the first and third Mondays of every month without interruption, as well as additional special events. In 2012 we are presenting more than 35 performances featuring over 60 ensembles, from Adelaide, Australia and around the world.
