Quivver feat. Angel Hart - Ain't Nothin' Goin' On But The Rent (Extended Radio Mix) by QUIVVER

Coming out May 1st 2014 a fantastic release of Quivver aka John Graham’s latest cover project featuring Angel Hart of Gwen Guthrie’s 1986 R&B Dance Classic “Ain’t Nothing Goin On But the Rent.” The Extended Radio Mix will be available for free download (limited time), with the full EP released on Boz Boz Records coming out mid-May. “Ain’t Nothin Goin’ On But the Rent” is a follow up of Quivver feat Angel Hart’s “I Don’t Want To Wait” hit release last Summer on Toolroom Records. Quivver's cover stays true to the original groove but with a big-room house sound, while his dub goes deeper with chopped up vocal hooks and bouncing bassline. Angels' vocal retains the attitude of the original but with her own clean crisp delivery.

John Graham, better known as QUIVVER is a multi talented DJ, producer and vocalist. Residing in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJ’s for over 5 years, his career spanning over two decades has brought forth multi-genre hits from his multiple production aliases including Quivver, Space Manoeuvres, Stoneproof, Skanna and Tilt. John’s discography includes releases on his own label Boz Boz and world renown labels Bedrock, Toolroom, Raid / Strictly Rhythm, Yoshitoshi, Hooj Choons, VC Recordings and many more. As a vocalist John has collaborated and written electrifying songs for Hybrid, Planet Funk and The Low Highs. In addition to his many top charting releases, John’s music has been licensed to nationally syndicated television programs, has produced music for video game trailers and has also worked on film scores proving his skills as a producer go far beyond just the EDM world.

This release also marks the 10 year anniversary and the return of John’s label Boz Boz, which was originally launched in 2004 and has released music from John’s projects Quivver and Space Manoeuvres and other artists including Boris Brejcha and Lank.

Quivver’s fresh take on this old school classic will certainly stretch across the globe to international dance floors and radio waves. This catchy and nostalgic remake matched with it’s excellent deep house production is without a doubt on track to be a top hit for those Summer Pool Parties and Night Clubs alike.
