As an artist, Queensyze is the complete package. She produces multi genre electronic music, she DJ's, she composes original music for film, she remixes for video games and it’s for that reason that she is one of the most influential voices in underground electronic music and an instrumental leader of the Canadian electronic music sound.
2016 was a huge year for Queensyze. She released her first solo house EP called “Somebody Like You”, a deep garage house vocal EP with remixes by Greazus, Essette, SOLLORS, and Diana Boss. Nervous Records released her acid house banger “Gotta Get Up” that she co-produced with Chicago artist SOLLORS (now Karsten Sollors) that broke into the top ten on release day on Track Source and eventually landed in the top 100 at the #68 spot. Prison Entertainment released a garage house bassline throwback “Call It Back” that she co-produced with Karsten Sollors.
In support of her 2016 releases she toured the spring/summer headlining in her hometown Toronto, Montreal, Festivals all over Canada and the USA and finally ending her tour headlining in Vancouver where she now resides.
2017 has already jumped to an amazing start, her track "Gotta Get Up" was played on Annie Nightingale's BBC Radio 1. Queensyze is preparing for her next releases and working towards another summer tour.
Queensyze is not constrained by genre when producing or DJ'ing. To her, good music is good music. She moves her sound back and forth using her talent to work all sides seamlessly with little effort as her own unique expression and creative approach. Her love and knowledge of electronic music, old and new is evident when she DJ’s as she balances all of her sets perfectly between now and then, introducing her fans to where this scene has come from and where it might be heading.
