Art Producer and Jamaica, Queens-based community leader Brendez Wineglass discusses the process of identifying untold stories among so many qualified applications for the Artist Commissioning Program. We hear behind-the-scenes excerpts from the actual panels as the art producers discuss "Category 1," or the capacity to create new art that tells untold stories, defies the cultural mainstream, and/or privileges underrepresented identities and cultures--the issues specific to ACP's funding priority.
