Our cycle has closed, making way for the next one. It won’t be the last. The storms blew away the remaining dust that was once. The sea swelled enough to forever sink entire cities. Flora has forced monuments back into the ground. “Contretemps” is an elegy broken into seven compositions of a world that we might never see.
