In the name of The God, the Most Gracious,
the Most Merciful
By the midday brightness
and by the calm of night
Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He become displeased,
And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present.
And soon will your Lord give you so that you shall be well pleased.
Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter?
And He found you wandering, and He gave you guidance.
And He found you in need, and made thee independent.
So as for the orphan, do not oppress
and as for the beggar, scold him not
and as for thy Lord's blessing, declare it.
