London
Hailing from Gaeta, Southern Italy, Pre Silent is a producer and live performer based in London. He began his music journey in 2013, playing and organising parties and raves in his hometown, where he gained his first residency at MoveMind.
After moving to Milan to pursue his music studies, he later relocated to London, where his career as a musician really took off.
Described as Dark Futurist, Pre Silent’s productions are an innovative mix of analogue hooks and infectious beats, inspired by anything from Pink Floyd and Throbbing Gristle, to the darkest hues of deep techno or the most inclement industrial sounds.
There is a specific philosophy behind his idea of music and artistic performance. In particular, he sees his live as an evolving sonic entity, a constant study on the development of his own sound, from one performance to the other.
This approach largely influences his view on the scene and music production too. Choosing not to record his sets, he promotes a vision of music that is very anchored to the essence of sound and therefore best lived in the moment and experienced on the dance floor.
The underground has always been at the core of the Pre Silent’s work and interests.
Wanting to give space and exposure to talented local artists, he founded his first collective 000011010, as well as his own event series Noise Orchestra, hosted in the walls of E1 London.
He joined forces with local promoters Unmasked and Exiled to host the legendary The Warehouse Rave.
He is also one of the names behind The Sabbath, 12h of warehouse madness and latest addition to the ever-growing activities of a truly all-round artist.
In London, he is involved with some of the most hedonistic and underground parties (Kaos, HTBX, Corner...) and has performed at renowned clubs of the likes of Village Underground, E1 and many more.
Through the years he has shared the stage with artists like Dax j, Surgeon, Speedy j, Tommy Four Seven, Dj Rush, Freddy K, AnD, Bas Mooy, Ø [Phase], Adam X, Domenico Crisci and Sunil Sharpe.
