French newcomer, already known for his talent as a producer, Simon Opprefish is our host for this 20th Popcast. Deep songs and thorough selection are the ingredients of this hovering podcast.. Hopefully, the rain didn’t melt yet our gifted French artists…
Opprefish has a strong knowledge in terms of music experience, as he learnt music theory for ten years, but also practiced saxophone and guitar for several years too. That is probably why he cannot prevent the combination of carrying melodies and dynamic rythms in his compositions, which at the end become real stories. He catches, thanks to his last songs, the attention of a large audience on the web, including prestigious labels with which projects are in preparation.

After making his first productions, including the famous “Music is the way we love” on Reason, Opprefish quickly turns towards Ableton Live, with which he ripens his production methods, in order to create more polished sounds. It is finally hard to describe Opprefish's style. In each story he delivers, we note captivating plays of harmonies, an obvious concern of details, an original but consistent structure… No matter we talk about tech-house, electronica, or even chill-out. His personal touch is not about genre, but about the contribution of sensations and emotion.
