Elise Bean is the Washington Co-Director of the Levin Center at Wayne Law and before that spent nearly 30 years on the hill doing investigations for Senator Levin. She shares several lessons she learned over the years about how to respond when federal agencies object to congressional requests.

Bean was joined by her former colleague from across the aisle, Justin Rood. Rood is the director of POGO's Congressional Oversight Initiative and formerly worked for Senator Tom Coburn.
