Poets John McAuliffe, Seán Hewitt and Victoria Kennefick host a new weekly podcast from Poetry Ireland, in which they talk to poets, critics, curators and readers about the books they would have been launching and talking about during the months of April, May and June 2020, before the pandemic led to the cancellation of all poetry festivals and launches in Ireland.

Episode 3 of Unlaunched features Róisín Kelly discussing Mercy with Victoria, who describes the poems' “remarkable emotional range and vulnerability, as well as an originality of phrasing”. Novelist Sara Baume talks about the close kinship she currently feels with a poem of Gerard Manley Hopkins in the 'Poem in a Pandemic’ slot while curator of the Mountains2Sea dlr Book Festival Liz Kelly talks about that festival's poetry events in ‘The Curator’s Take’.
