Give Myself Away feat. Amy Douglas (Original) by Plant Music published on 2013-07-24T19:26:34Z All Dom Wrong is the new solo project of New York based DJ / producer Dominque Keegan, and here he is turning it out for the summer with a release that’s set to be in the boxes of many a DJ all throughout the year. Give Myself Away is swaddled in a deep, rich, almost Balearic-yet-disco fuelled blanket with Amy Douglas adding something special via a deftly executed vocal that’s yearning and soulful. Kasper Bjorke’s remix is a five-mute voyage into abstract, minimal disco whilst Aashton & Swift’s remix is another standout coming across with subtle nostalgic chord progressions, stumbling beats and sunset ambience. Finally Trap Avoid’s remix is a pumping acid beast with a huge hammer-the-point-home riff delivering the climax. Dom, who founded the Plant Music label and Plant Bar (RIP), has been a long time DJ in NYC and also front man to 00's indie dance outfit The Glass. He has featured as a guest vocalist on tracks by 2020 Soundsystem, Ian Pooley, Kris Menace and Dennis Ferrer (singing the Hey Heys on Hey Hey). In collaboration with Boston based vocalist Amy Douglas (Juan MacLean, Lazaro Casanova, Treasure Fingers), the two have created a soulful house track with a nod to the New York Diva records of the 90s. This track has already getting great feedback from DJs like Tensnake, Aeroplane, Damien Lazarus, John Digweed, X-Press 2, Shit Robot, M.A.N.D.Y, Marcuss Marr, Justin Fauss and more.
