Pingipung Podcast 151: Mad Lubi - Nature Boy by Pingipung

Jan Lubahn aka 'Mad Lubi' grew up in the far north and moved to Berlin a few years ago out of love for music. There he works for a big record store, regularly spinning at various venues, most often and preferably at Arkaoda. In the past he has hosted several event series, organized and played festival stages, collaborated with great labels like Philophon and in his spare time he is constantly on the lookout for black gold. For almost a year now, he and his partner have been producing a monthly radio show on Cashmere Radio: 'The Endless Tape Machine'.

"This mix called 'Nature Boy' meanders through my music collection, from the great love jazz, to ethno and exotic vibes to Latin America, to Jamaica to Southeast Asia to folk. The name of the mix has been floating around in my head for a while, firstly because it fits the podcast photo and secondly because it's one of my favorite songs for a long time. In this mix, nature is often sung about, discussed. You can hear an instrumental version of this song in the podcast."
