Composer and neurologist. Studied composition with Vladimír Bokes at the University of Music and Drama in Bratislava (Slovakia), where she completed a Master’s Degree. She participated at many composition courses abroad (IRCAM, Szombathely, Reichenau, where she studied with Brian Ferneyhough, Ivan Fedele, Jonathan Harvey, Ivana Loudova, etc.). Simultaneously with her composition studies she also studied medicine at the Medical Faculty of Comenius University in Bratislava. After her studies she worked as a doctor at Clinic of Neurology in University Hospital in Bratislava, where she completed her specialization in neurology in 2003. In 2006 she received the doctoral stipendium from Foundation for Science and Technology Lisbon, Portugal. In 2010 she completed a PhD in composition and electroacoustic music. Currently she works as assistant professor of composition and electroacoustic music at the University of Aveiro.

Her works have been played at concerts, exhibition openings and renowned international festivals in Europe, USA, Brasil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Cuba and New Zealand.
Many of her works were published on CDs (Contemporary Reflections, Hevhetia 2011, RE: New Music, Spektral Records, 2010, Momentum, Phonedition 2010, Vitkovice, KANT 2008, Musica Contemporanea, Numérica 2007, Luminiscence, Slovart Music 2006, Aberrationes, Ekolio 2001-monographic CD, Seven through five, Slovart music 2001, The gate of hope 2000).
Recent years she has been interested in different ways of interaction between instrumental and electroacoustic music. Her research is focused mainly on interactive gesture models in mixed music.
