Pav L has moved to Sardinia (Italy) with his family at the age of 15. He was raised within creative environment and passion for art and music. When the internet wasn't that popular yet, listening to his first Nokia's radio was the way to spend the night time. The Essential Mix on BBC Radio 1 by Pete Tong became a big influence for the kid and soon he started to produce electronic music. First time behind the decks happened at a local Mojito club where he performed about half a year every Friday night. Finishing very late, the Saturday wasn't a normal day at school but this residence led Pav L to buy some equipment and software for the studio. In few years time the producer became regular at many local venues and developed his style and technique. He enjoyed to perform back to back with his partner and friend Giampietro “John's” Saporito, Italian guy with a similar sound taste and passion for electronic music. However, the island was not offering anything too exciting and the guys moved to London to start a new journey. Founding Av.rage and Jamed records, the duo ran a weekly party at Shoreditch's Trafik bar in order to create a platform for meeting new artists, passionate people and develop the record label which continues to be a dynamic and evolving project.
Pav L and his duo project Av.rage recently performed gigs in London (XOYO, Hakkasan Mayfair, Hakkasan Hanway Place, Sake No Hana, Club Aquarium, Trafik, Rhythm Factory, Brixton Clubhouse), Berlin (M.I.K.Z, Hotel du Rome), Amsterdam (Tolhuistuin / ADE14), Tokyo (Oath), Shanghai (Hakkasan), Sardinia (Blustar, Miramare).
They were lined up along A Guy Called Gerald, System 7, Supernova, Ralf, Jay Shepheard, Smokin Jo, Dave Seaman, Red Pig Flower, Marco Effe and broadcasted on Radio Provoque, Feeling London, Hoxton.FM, Loungesquatt Berlin
Today, Pav L is regular at the Michelin starred Hakkasan Mayfair and luxury Hotel Du Rome in Berlin, about which he says: “Creating the right and cool atmosphere is essential... At Hakkasan and Roccoforte Hotels I am embracing the chance to be a part of the big capitals high life, with all of its trends and taste the stunning flavours. VIPs are frequent in here and it was a big honour to play and meet legendary Sven Väth or Ronnie Wood. Moreover, Berlin has completely a different vibe and this inspires me a lot. Working alongside my team and the “visionary” Michael Adam helped me to open wider my mind regarding the sound conception and connect it to my mixing skills. All this is very exciting for me today at my 25th.”
