Romanian born and raised, Paul Damixie is a producer, remixer and DJ, with a visionary taste for remixes. This brought him into the spotlight of music listeners and important radio stations.
Paul provides a steady flow of solo releases to further establish his name as a masterful DJ and producer, blending together different styles with his own personal touch of magic.
He was also a DJ for the most succesful Dj projects in Romania - Radio Killer, which managed to creatively conquer the Romanian and the international music industry. The project is well-known for its smashing singles, “Voila” , “Be free” or ”Lonely Heart”.
Paul Damixie managed also to transform Adele hit “Hello” into a soulful House anthem that was highly appreciated all over the world. The remix has almost 1.000.000 Shazams and countless plays on Soundcloud and YouTube. In 2015, it came first in a top made by Capital Extra UK with some of the best remixes of the year.
For his great performance in the US with the remix of „Hello”, Paul was awarded the iHeart Radio 2016 Remix Award (Remix of the Year)”, in Miami, during the “2016 Remix Awards” event. The prize was handed by Steve Angello, former member of Swedish House Mafia and one of the most important DJs in the world.
In June 2016, the Romanian Dj released the music video for his original track – “Time”. The song features Feli, a talented Romanian singer and songwriter, and was included in the MTV Dance UK and Kiss FM UK playlists.
This Spring, Paul Damixie released the music video for his new single titled ”Get Lost”. With 2, 5 million plays on Spotify and over 500,000 Shazams in the first five months of its release, Paul Damixie added "Get Lost" on the map of the Romanian productions that managed to achieve extraordinary success not only in Romania, but also abroad. The single, produced in HaHaHa Production studios, is licensed in over 200 territories and ranked 88th place in Shazam Global Top 100 and entered Top 4 most searched tracks in Romania and Russia. It was also included as the first track in the “Dance Party” playlist by Spotify, a group of over 1,3 million users.
Paul Damixie’s most recent single was in heavy rotation on radio stations in Romania, ranking third among the most popular Romanian songs, and in Russia, where it entered the Europa Plus playlist, the most important mainstream radio in the Russian Federation, and stayed in the top 10 tracks for over 10 weeks.
