A Persian jazz affair.

When writing and composing his music, Parviz has his eyes set on the international realm. The French-Persian producer taps into global influences to create a rich sonic tapestry, flowery and dreamy, where celestial melodies and lush rhythms complement one another. A sound that spans far and wide, from the oriental ballads of Zerzura (Omena Records) to the buoyant jazz-funk of The Sky Of Orange Whispers (FHUO Records), released on Folamour’s label and Kitsuné Musique.
An unexpected marriage of cultures, on full display in his DJ sets, where borders crumble and styles coalesce: Persian ritornellos meet Brazilian boogie gems, Afro-Caribbean hymns greet New York salsa swaggers. On parquet floors or in hushed places, Parviz’s music has a vibrant story to tell: one of mirth and dance, of sublimation and surrender.
