I wanted to give the impression of New Years 1972 in this one. I wanted to both find a film that featured New Years party atmosphere (sans music.. a difficult thing to find I discovered) and the muffled sounds of a party experienced from outside while smoking a cigarette. It wasn't until my wife recommended the awful Peter Sellers shitsploitation film "the Party" that I found something close to what I was looking for. Really though... fuckkkkk that movie. However, the intro tune by Mancini is choice! 2011-09-05T08:49:17Z Comment by Big Pauper This track didn't seem to fit smoothly anywhere else on the album so I decided to tuck it away at the end of the album as a little bonus. This is the second in a series of songs written for my wife and is composed solely of samples. 2011-09-05T08:43:50Z
