Bacharaban Ver. 2 W EWI by Pamela Ruiter-Feenstra

Hear the intriguing sounds of the electronic wind instrument (ewi) played and mixed (with Arab instruments) by Director of Audio Services (Oberlin), Paul Eachus with the Lurie Carillon at the University of Michigan.
Bacharabàn combines an Arab pitch mode, with a Latin American Rumba dance rhythm, with diverse harmonic shadings inspired by Bach's Prelude to his G-Major Suite for solo gamba or 'cello. Bacharabàn represents a community in which each person and culture is valued, and all voices are heard to inspire one another to new creative and collaborative dimensions.
