This On SoundCloud Premier Sign-Up Privacy Policy (“OSCP Privacy Policy”) forms part of and applies in addition to our general Privacy Policy with respect to the information you provide to us when you sign-up to On SoundCloud Premier via the https://soundcloud.com/you/premier path and its sub-sites.

Information we collect about you and what we use it for

When you sign-up to On SoundCloud Premier, we will ask you to provide us with the following personal data in order to enter into an agreement with SoundCloud to enable you to monetize Your Content (the On SoundCloud Premier Terms and Conditions - “On SoundCloud Premier Agreement”):

Whether you enter into the contract as a business or an individual: this is required to identify who will be contractually bound by the On SoundCloud Premier Agreement, i.e. who has the right to enter into the agreement and receive revenue from monetization. This can be you as an individual, or an incorporated or unincorporated business you are acting on behalf of. If you do not select to join On Soundcloud Premier as a business you will automatically contract as an individual.
Your first and last name: We need your real name in order to identify you as the individual who enters into and is bound by the On SoundCloud Premier Agreement, or who acts as an authorized representative of a business.
Business name: If you join On Soundcloud Premier as a business, we require you to state the full business name you act on behalf of as an authorized representative. We need this information to identify the party who enters into and is bound by the On SoundCloud Premier Agreement. If you join On SoundCloud as an individual you can provide a business name if you wish to do so.
Address: We require you to provide your full mailing address or the one of the business you act on behalf of. This is necessary to identify you as a person and to be able to provide you with proper legal notices.
Tax ID/VAT: We also collect your tax ID or VAT number if applicable. If you join On SoundCloud Premier as a business, this information is required to enable proper tax accounting purposes.
Other Tax Payee information and W9 certifications (US only): If you are a U.S. person, we will collect certain information and certifications from you, which enable us to report eligible payouts to the Internal Revenue Service in the U.S.
PayPal email address: In order to be able to remit any revenue earned through your monetized tracks to your designated PayPal account, we ask you to provide us with the email address that is connected to a PayPal account in which you wish to receive your eligible payouts.

Please note that you can manually edit, delete or amend all of the information you provided up to the point where you click the “agree” button. After that, you will still be able to manually edit, delete or amend your information except your first and last name. Please send an email with this request to legal@soundcloud.com.

How we use your information

We use the information provided by you to operate and maintain your On SoundCloud Premier Agreement with SoundCloud. The information will be used to calculate the eligible revenue to be paid out to you and affect the payments into your PayPal account. We may also share the information with third party professionals and competent authorities for audits and legal processes required by applicable laws, e.g. for tax reporting purposes.
