Operating nationally since 1919, and for 64 years in Oregon and SW Washington, Junior Achievement (JA) is a nonprofit organization that partners with schools and businesses to provide business, economics and life-skills programming for youth. Their mission is to ensure that young people are empowered to succeed in a global economy by focusing on financial literacy, entrepreneurship and work-readiness education for K-12 students. As an organization they serve nearly 40,000 local students annually–nearly 4,000 of which will experience JA Finance Park.
