A Queens native, Pablo Romero has been a staple in the underground movement throughout New York City. Well known for his hypnotic grooves and deeper shades of house, techno, and dub. Pablo’s ultimate goal is to inspire those on a deeper level; he believes music has the power to achieve that.
“Music to me is like another form of language. It’s a way to express my feelings from within."
His preference for more intimate atmospheres allows him to work his magic over a crowd in spaces such as Cielo or TBA Brooklyn where he is a resident at. It’s part of the reason why he enjoys playing dub techno, a style of sound characterized by bass line patterns, long-winded spacial chords & hypnotic grooves. He is inspired by well known disc jockey, Willie Graff.
Pablo has consistently kept dance floors moving playing alongside the likes of Pan-Pot, Drumcell, Nick Curly, Kevin Saunderson, Delano Smith, Juan Atkins, Gary Beck, Terrence Parker, Willie Graff, Martin Landsky, Alexi Delano, Marco Faraone, Karizma to name a few. He has also played at world renown venues like Output, Cielo, Sullivan Room, Pacha NYC, TBA Brooklyn, MTW Club (Germany), Silbergold (Germany), Missing Link (Germany), Climax Institutes (Germany) The Zoo Festival (Colombia), Roma (Cuba), Rustynailraver (Cuba) Aurora (Colombia), La Central (Colombia), Veniceberg (Italy).
A consistent taste maker, Pablo maintains a regular residency at TBA Brooklyn & is a Cielo homegrown resident.
