Oxonium Trax in an experimental hobby-venture, that barely tries to be active on the market as it ranges between all styles of electronic music / techno-music of the last 25 years. It's nearly impossible to commit oneself stylistically whereas there's such a broad range of juicy sounds. Nevertheless, it should be possible to recognize the individuality in both, soft sounds and heavy, dark industrial sounds, but there's one style that i want highlight: "Boosted Old-School"!
Oxytekk is more about Techno, Tech-House and Underground
What's Boosted Old-School ? Let me explain:
have you ever listened to some old techno trax and have you thought while listening:" Damn, the musical idea of Old School is great, but the sound is really vintage and dated. 'Tis pity, you can't play this in clubs, because the sound-implementation would be an imposition for clubbers, nowadays..."? Well, here's the solution: a Boost-Up ! This is not a Remix...a Remix would change an original idea of a track, but so not Boosted Old-School. This type maintains the originality of an vintage techno-song, with the only difference of a more powerful sound, by adding fitting audio-tracks f.e. bassdrums, high-hats, synths and effects, to give the track a nowadays club-suitable power, without destroying the vintage musical atmosphere and basic idea, thereby the main focus is around the first half of the 1990's. This is not really an own style of music, but as the range of old school is so wide, and the boosted sound on each track is so unique, a collective noun is needed: Boosted Old School!
