The Screaming Fraction Of A Grain by Ovale (Yann Coppier)

This is track n.1 of a series to be released during an artistic residence at EMS Stockholm. Recorded live in the studio, no mastering yet.

Here I am using a MacBeth Elements synthesizer as the input source, then a Monome Aleph, a distortion and a reverb to process it. The idea is to explore fragmentation through something that appears regular, but is really never repeating itself. Always the same, always different, but with a live human input instead of being defined by an algorithm.
