One Equals Two

Simone Mollica starts dealing with music at the age of 14... it begun with the first guitar lessons. Soon enough he and his big friend, the bass player Martino, founded their first post-grunge band "QUICKSAND", which shortly after its beginning reached the final of the "EMERGENZA ROCK" contest. The second most important musical experience came not many years later with "EON Absinth", band of which Simone is still the frontman. The new band's most important goal is signed from the homonymous EP "EON Absinth" (2004) that leads them to play in downtown Los Angeles, thanks to the support of friends from Pasadena. Aftewards Simone feels the need of new spurs. Because of this feeling, he moves to Berlin in 2006, where he finds a chance to dedicate himself to the research of new sounds, experimenting the german capitol atmosphere, which inspires him right away. At the same time he studies at the "Deutsche pop Musik Akademie" arrangement and music techniques in depth. Because of his first bands' experiences, which found power on the base of a special feeling between the components, Simone decided to initiate a brand new solo adventure, exploring other shapes, other sounds' nuances and ways to make music. With such an attitude, and with his new artistic consciousness Simone is back to Italy at the beginning of the year 2009.
