Born as a foundation “sound”, Onedrop Fellas project appears in Cosenza on an unspecified day of November 2008. The original team, initially composed by Fosco aka Sir Elephant and Vincenzo aka Cenzino, takes part in the first city dancehalls and becomes popular thanks to a vinyl selection that ranges from ska to rock steady, from reggay to roots. Jkob and Dj Kerò, who enrich the crew, will join to the project in the next year. The first two years are packed with events alongside both Italian and International artists and “sounds” (Rodigan, Gappy Ranks, Anthony B, Brusco, Sud Sound System, Alborosie, Anthony B, Macro Marco, I-Schence, Kiave, Gioman e Killacat, Eman, Madkid, Dancehall Soldiers, Mama Marjas, Boom da bash, Treble, Dj war, Lampa Dread, dj 'Mbatò, Dawn Penn, Junior Kelly, Lee Scratch Perry, Dj Lugi; Moddi, Dj trix …) who have an important part in Onedrop Fellas’ success, a well-known name in the fervent reggae/dancehall panorama of Calabria. 2010 is the year of transformation for the sound. In fact it has a stable line-up with its present members, music perception becomes wider and, above all, Onedrop deals with reggae music diffusion over the airwaves. In fact during that very year “Warm-up”, the first radiophonic incarnation of the crew, arises on the historic frequencies of Radio Ciroma. Jkob, thanks to his dusky past in bass music, influences the sound still more, “corrupting” music selections with sharp tunes such as Jungle, D’n’b and Dubstep that characterize "Irie-beat", the first mixtape released in collaboration with the net label Sud Under Beat. In the meantime, consolidated the experience of Piazzetta Toscano, Onedrop brings on 105.7 a new radiophonic format, “Fellas Galore”, now the only radio program entirely dedicated to reggae and dancehall music in Calabria in which Mella and Rosco (dancehall soldiers) have taken part since 2014. In March 2015 they take part at Mortal Combat Soundclash, a tournament whit other 7 sounds, whit good result and in November of the same year they won their first cup at the "Thrill Kill Soundclash", powered by Dancehall Soldiers and One Love Hi-Powa, in Rome against Black Soul. Actually the sound is composed by Sir Elephant (Dj /selecter/ promoter) and Jkob ( Selecter/Producer).
