0nar0 A truly unique and eclectic music producer based Sydney, Australia. Onaro refuses to define himself by anything other than his own musical evolution. Onaro’s passion for music started early in life and has been evolving with him as he grows and develops his sound. Not sticking to any one genre he takes big influence from his past musical endeavours, electronic sound design, naturally occurring soundscapes and nature. From an early age, Onaro demonstrated a remarkable aptitude for playing and understanding music. Music has always been a part of his life, growing up in a musical household he was surrounded by it from an early age. Having spent his early teen years playing guitar in bands with friends. Onaro was heavily influenced by metal and heavier forms of music and was later introduced to electronic music and began learning various DAWs to record and make his own soon electronic music soon after. Onaro later went on to study music performance at the Australian Institute of Music and sound engineering at JMC academy in Sydney. Formerly a member of Hard Dance duo Tha Artistz who gained some regional success with local residencies, festival sets and also playing internationally Onaro decided to move away from Hard dance scene a few years ago and focus on a solo project writing his own brand of Bass music. Walking his own path and never being dragged into following trends Onaro’s main goal for his project is to fuse his knowledge of traditional instruments with electronic music. Heavily focused on creating unique and interesting atmospheres, organic textured music along with heavy basslines and intricate drum tracks his music shows a lot of depth and emotion. Lately he has been incorporating more naturally recorded sounds such as electric guitar and percussion into his music. Quickly catching the attention of several labels after winning a remix competition run by Dub all or Nothing records in 2014 for his remix Formal one’s tune Oasis. He has also had an original release with Upscale Recordings of which the title track “Dusk” was also featured on EDM.com.
