ECCE PARIS, ECCE HOMO - II - L'Humble Lueur – 2 - Mes Deux Filles by Olivier Calmel published on 2020-02-06T16:19:14Z ECCE PARIS, ECCE HOMO Cantata for Children's Choir and Orchestra on texts by Victor Hugo Maîtrise de Radio France & Paris Brass Band, Conductor : Florent Didier http://www.artchipel.net/product/ecce-paris-ecce-homo/ The theme of childhood is omnipresent in the work of Victor Hugo. The witness of miserable childhood, admiring and tender father, stubborn defender of a universal education are expressed in courageous works and of a remarkable moral and spiritual elevation. These texts, prose or verse, are enamelled with striking formulas whose sonic magic persists in all memories. This cantata evokes three aspects of childhood dear to Victor Hugo. The Parisian boy from Les Misérables is embodied in the person of Gavroche, child mischievous and ironic who will die singing. In the second part, it is the happy childhood of her two daughters that the author talks tenderly. The aspiration for universal education remedies all the misfortunes of society and all obscurantism, is expressed in the third part, prophetically summed up by this final verse: ' Every child we teach is a man we earn ' ' Chaque enfant qu’on enseigne est un homme qu’on gagne ' Genre Classical Comment by Myckael Marcovic Œuvre enchanteresse ! 2022-06-07T07:31:43Z Comment by ehsan nice 2020-02-06T20:01:58Z
