Terra Incognita Session #1 - Flux Laboratory by chroma.space published on 2017-06-13T16:07:40Z Opening meeting of the Terra Incognita collaboration between Prof David Rudrauf and Katharine Vega. This conversation digs into the origins of the project and David Rudrauf's model of consciousness. Mystical traditions, phenomenologists and artists from all ages have developed languages to map intersubjectivity: shared experience between people. Terra Incognita is a long-term research project exploring collective experience: an interdisciplinary collaboration across art and science delving in to the potentials Virtual Reality bring to deepen our understanding of perception, relationship and Artificial Intelligence. These conversations have been recorded during a three week residency at the Flux Laboratory and Campus Biotech in Geneva May 2017. Early work on the Virtual Reality prototype has been shared at the NCCR Affective Sciences Conference and the Flux. Video documentation on Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/230918971 Genre Science
