Introduction: Restoring Indigenous Humanity by OFIFC published on 2022-06-25T12:51:23Z The restoring Indigenous humanity podcast is a six episode mini series that is made up of urban Indigenous community voices who share their experiences of navigating the Canadian criminal justice system. This series is brought to you by the Ontario Federation of Indigenous Friendship Centres, also known as the OFIFC in partnership with United Native Friendship Centre, Nogojiwanong Friendship Centre, Toronto Council Fire Native Cultural Centre, and Brantford Regional Indigenous Support Centre. This series was made possible through funding from The Law Foundation of Ontario and we would like to acknowledge Erin MacIndoe Sproule and Elia Morrison from Anthroscope Media who helped make the series possible through their training, story development, support and editing for each episode. The OFIFC represents the collective interests of 29 Indigenous Friendship Centres in cities and towns across Ontario. Friendship Centres are community hubs for Indigenous people living in urban spaces so they can gather, connect and receive culturally based programs and services.
